Second two are from the last couple of days. Didn’t try today’s update yet.

The village pics look nice, but those anvils are just crazy. Maybe stolen from giants?
A medieval blacksmith’s anvil was usually mounted on a wooden log and was more modest in size.

It would be really nice, when involved in a battle that has a noble of one of the noble houses present, that the sound of fanfares would open that battle (and orc horns would open a battle with the orcs).

Something I am pondering right now is how exactly the Mercenary Banners for the player will look like. We either say the player just chooses from the same pool of banners like the noble houses or we make another set of banners for the player. I honestly like the idea to have the mercenary banners look different to noble house banners.
    We will see….

Does that mean you’ve scrapped the ingame banner generator idea, so we could customise our banner ourselves?

Last question: as this subfaction gonna fight between themselves?
I find it strange if they not.
Bandits fighting for turf or orc clans killing each other because they can, goblins fighting for profit – it seems natural order of things and would be great for balance and then it come Great Evil that united one faction and pose real threat for human kingdom.

I’ve seen it happen before. Bandits that were following me and zombies and ghouls duked it out and I just had to clean out the last ones standing…

Any chance of throwing the odd bascinet or barbut in?

Of course I considered these, but thought they appeared pretty late (1400+). If you have any infos on their first appearance I might reconsider :)

The bascinet with the pointy nose visor is deinitely late 14th, early 15th century, not sooner. Totally out of place with the 11th century Battle Brothers…

Anybody been asking for a helmet rework?

Very lovely. What’s that a Ku Klux Klan guy, third on top? :D

But I’m still hoping the painted blue, red, white, green and black helmets make it in too.

On top of that have a look at the reworked tunics

Why are some belts buckled from left to right and others from right to left? Don’t most men wear the belt to the left?

We’ll see how that works out. In general it will make more sense to not stack the heaviest armor you can find on everybody.

We stack heavy because it’s the only real protection. If you’d maybe counterbalance that with adding more dodge and evade skills mechanics it may be more effective to fight large, lumbering orcs in light, agile armour, quickly striking and retreating, thus keeping your guy alive. But as it is now, there’s no such mechanic and one lucky hit from an orc can still kill your guy, so it’s better to put all heavy stuff on him in hope he survives. Only the game is currently so punishing with fatigue (even if I select I’ll make one strong guy my tank, but then the leveling gives me shitty stats, all 2’s and I can’t pump up his fatigue), if I give him not even the heaviest armour, but some level 3 or 4 stuff, he’s too heavy and only has enough stamina for one strike, then has to rest. Bit too restrictive if you ask me.

How about making the revenant Noble armour lootable? As well as the skellington champion one and his hooded helmet too?

    He’s a masske- what?

My guy gets pissed about something, then time passes, he should no longer be, but the icon is still there. If I mouse over it, just the circle appears, no description. Then he gets happy about something, but the pissed icon is still there…

I vandalised a graveyard full of skellingtons, animated by a grimy old necromancer and got this named item axe at the end off one of the shellington champions.
But the pic of the item and the pic of equipped item don’t match.

Also, could you make the skellington champion armour lootable? You know the one with the full helm and hood.
Don’t see why the player wouldn’t be able to equip it if he got his hands on it intact, as I did in the last battle where I carefully poked the skellington champion with scramasaxes and daggers as to not damage the armour. Conan and his companions used armours found in a tomb. Surely our heroes are no worse than Conan’s companions…

But wait, wait, wait… Doesn’t a werewolf turn back into a man once killed? So you’d end up with a human skin on your armour, no?

I’ve started a new campaign when “named items” patch was released and my guys are already about lvl8 and I’ve still not won any named items or even seen them, or the advertised “werewolf” armour. It’s all just same ol’ gear I see. Maybe make the rare items a bit less rare, even if their stats aren’t superior, just for variety sake.
