    My 5c.

    I do not give up hope of correcting puncture mechanics and a system of exploit the full surround for panicking opponent.
    a1. Prohibit the use of puncturing both for AI and the player – if chances below 5 % ( factic %)
    a2. Prohibit to use puncture for NOT surrounded target with a shield. ( for AI and player)
    a3. Increase the chances for puncture when target surrounded by 3 or more allies, in net, stunned,

    b1. Completely surrounded and panicking enemy no longer misses the turn (cuz it can not move), but performs random attacking actions for an random target.
    b2. The higher the resolve of the enemy ( and player’s unit), the greater the chance that, when full surrounded, he will restore morale (nowhere to retreat- fight to the death)

    Just in case: in the battle log there is no information about the miss of a ranged attack if it hits the neighboring target (actually misses the primary target)

    1. In this game all the opponents are better and stronger than you. There is no justice or loyalty for the player. The game is so conceived, “be ready to lose some men” and “loosing is fun”.) Formally, everything works better for AI, if only because AI does not have injuries at the beginning of a fight and opponents are always more and do not need to pay money and repair equipment. a lot of AI units have basic def and attack stats such that you do not always get to 11th level, etc. just take it)
    2. The bounty hunters are exclusively opponents. I’m sure Christof made them so conscious. There is one “but” – battle with them this is your personal choice of greed and self-confidence, they will never chase you on the map as 6 vampires on the 20th day of the company)

    ironman have little problem- when you leave town or another settelment, game autosave,it take some time but game don’t paused… so enemy catch you.
    In your personal situation i can recomend you try to run away from battle by move ALL your brothers to the end of tactical map( gex with white flag and press retreat button then) – so you will be able to retreat from the battle without getting injured and after that on the strategic map the enemies will somehow stand without moving, you can run away from them for some distance.

    I think Jan almost answered this question in one of his interview. The game is designed/balanced for 140-160 days. Victory of the crisis and deserved rest or loss. All these 2000 days and the company of terminators in the emperor’s armor and full unique outfit and 30+ level are already on the conscience of the players and the developers are not responsible for the psychological trauma in this case )
    Personally, I do not see anything wrong with the fact that the developers heard the players’ opinion about the battle log. The main thing that it was done correctly and not as shown in facebook. Need full and detailed information. Make the battle log optional and everyone will be happy. Who does not want to think to count and who wants to know why his knight with a defense of 70 killed by three daggers in a row).
    However, I am also afraid if changing the balance to please all these whines from the steam. If listen them… soon will be nerf of thugs …

    The developers decided on a detailed battle log. Many thanks. Only one request, if you decide to do it, then please do it properly. The fact that there is in your tweeter is not a detailed log -it is more like ” hm… well, the enemy hits you and he was lucky” .
    Do it right, quality, let there be specified all the conditions, perks and abilities that affect these chances. Let there be indicated in the numbers the attacking abilities and defenses of both the player and the enemies.

    something like that :
    Enemy atacks TargetName
    Attack of the enemy – 60
    Def TargetName – 70
    The TargetName stands on the hill – the enemy’s attack minus 10
    Total chance 5%
    The enemy, of course, –
    hit

    Damage (such as the rolls, so much that is absorbed by armor, battle forget, indomitable, ignor armor )

    Puncture – is the weakest moment in the combat mechanics of the game. It is too strong. In the AI hands – especially. When you meet several bounty hunters with the dagger mastery and a nets, you will see…the sight. A high-level brother with the appropriate talents and the correct build-up will also be very strong. Of course the undead will partially ignore the full power of this build, but undead – is only 1 type of opponent. Personally, I do not use such fighters from principle and ai with daggers I shoot first …

    Game have problem with enemie’s numbers on expert in midle and late game. Some problem with marksmen – looks like they have 2 or 3 “bulleye perks” in 1 time ) And old problem with bad reward( crowns and loot) for hard enemies. “Brigants are your best loot friends” – little sad. All rest Steam cry about too OP goblins, orcs, legioners and so on – just assfire from casuals.
