    I do know that, but what is the point of retreating when I won the fight? Besides my brothers are in action that means I’ll get injuries. So loose and injuries instead of win, xp and loot and all bc some caravan hand rallied and the turn is stuck? Does not look fair to me…

    +1 to icelemon It was like that before and I personally felt frustrated as hell when you keep going circles around the supposed location and cannot find it. Sometimes you had to drop the contract because of that since you had no money or food to wander about blindly.

    It sounds whiny man! Rusbear come on! And how it relates to the main question raised in the thread? The game offers huge amount of depth and I do not see any issues whatsoever with overwhelm or with resolve. I played more then enough and Max difficulty both with Iron Man and without to be able to state that.

    Oh yes, and bandages, no longer needed. I do not buy them at all. I assume you intended quite an opposite (increasing the stack)

    Hello Guys!

    First of let me join a warm wave of cheering and congratulate you on yet another huge step in this game. It feels amazing. I am already on turn 101 and the game is still very interesting. You did an amazing job and created a beautiful game with tremendous potential for replay-ability. Now to the point:

    1. I will join guys requesting info about injury when you hover over the enemy’s injury pic.
    2. I have encountered an odd behaviour with the Knee Cap injury. First of I am pretty sure I healed it in the temple and yet it still showed 3-5 days to heal. Second on the first turn of the battlebrother who used to have it, I still got an extra stamina spent after that it was fine.
    3. Not all weapon skills are present, i.e. no specialization for 1h swords. It would be great to add spec for orc chain, etc.

    P.S.
    I got the company of hardened brothers (8th lvl) and decided to take three sculls contract on greenskins. Only half of the men survived. The game is as challenging as ever, loving every moment of it.

    First of all the new UI is great, tremendous job! The only flaw for me is trading screen. % of durability stands too close to a price and personally for me it requires additional focus to compare prices or tell if the item worth selling here.

    That kind of makes sense. In my opinion vampires should definitely be more difficult but yet way more rewarding. There is another option though, you can leave life leech on these guys (you may just lower the %), remove blink and nine life, introduce elder vampires to the game (with better equipment and armor and with blink) and add vampire patriarchs with unique equipment, blink and nine lives (the same approach used in other species). So basically there will be to branches of undead, ghouls, vampires, elder vampires, patriarchs and zombies, skeletons, skeleton warriors, necromancers.

    There is a number of skulls above the contract that gives you basic idea about it’s difficulty. I imagine this contract had 3 skulls above. Playing on deadly you need to be picky with contracts at first, try going for 1 skull contracts, avoid protecting village from “terror” before having a decent front line. I also did some research and killing Hoggard on deadly is way better then skipping this mission. (I had about 15 restarts already). I traded only once when the location was very beneficial (plenty of towns with trading goods in 3 various locations accessible from ports and a huge harbor to sell goods to) and once I’ve got some lucky patrol marching ahead of me and a few kills bouncing my way so I had great equipment. Other then these 2 cases I managed to go by with initial 1400. Killing Hoggard is easy because there are no raiders with him, just thugs.

    Perfectly. Very happy for you. Should be we play different games. However – it does not matter.

    Stop whining about rnd already. I see you in every post with this not very smart idea to remove Random from the game and make it chesslike. I am sure devs already noticed your “idea”, no need to rub it in. Personally I am extremely against turning BB into chess and I do not await for any changes in this direction.

    Well, of course one could have backup weapon stored, and when durability is low – pull it out, and nimble fighters work better against orcs, but these are general tips, I doubt they would help every time not to lose BB team. So yeah, every time you go orc hunting the reward should be way higher.

    I agree with Rusbear on that, you have to make orcs missions more rewarding (and goblin as well), because right now it’s not profitable enough to go into these missions.
    And this is also my personal opinion, the game is good enough as is, it is the part that I personally miss.
