The range for melee increase is 1-3. Same for melee def
Thats right, all stats have their own increase ranges.
We are working on a permanent solution for the whole issue and are pretty confident it will be dealt with in one of the next smaller updates.Cheers!
PsenBattleKeymastersince it’s possible now to encounter Orc clans fighting each other it’d be good to have some way of telling which ones belong to which clan
Absolutely true. To be honest I already started working on recognizable features to tell the clans apart, but the topic got a little lost in the whole worldmap mayhem.
I’ll try to get back to it!PsenBattleKeymasterThere is a simple solution. Make the game modable
Modding is on our whishlist and I am pretty confident that it will be okay-ish moddabble even though we most certainly will not be able to provide a lot of tools for it.
We’ll see.PsenBattleKeymasterDo you plan change of seasons?
I aggree that it would be totally awesome. I did an estimate on the workload for me and the programming and unfortunately its out of the question for now :(
I’ve also experienced starting the campaign on the mainland, but with Howards hideout being on a derserted island with no way on to it.
That happened sometimes, but I think we fixed this by now. if not, let us know!
PS: the bug forum would be the appropriate place for things like thatCheers!
PsenBattleKeymasterSo, why can’t I get anything more interesting? I thought inter-House warfare and politics would come up. Are those type of contracts not out yet?
For the worldmap upate we only managed to properly implement 9 Contracts. We are working hard to get more in, there are 11 more designed and written. They just have to be implemented which sometimes is tricky as we have to bend or manipulate existing game mechanics.
1. The Goblins are very hard.
We are on the case and are pondering various ways how to best solve this.
I can’t find a town that sells a quiver of crossbow bolts.
I’ll check in on that, didnt have the problem yet. Let me know if more people experience this.
3. I love the patrol missions. It’s a license to do what I’ve been doing anyway, which is killing bandit parties of 5-7 thugs, but getting paid 110 crowns per head. I’ve made a killing on these patrol missions.
The patrols are still getting tweaks, as its pretty complex: The random generated world in conjunction with the very flexible patrol contract. It’s working okay allthough we are not perfectly happy with it yet.
4. I’m still looking for endgame.
We regret that there is no real endgame yet, but we have to build this up from the ground, so our focus is still constructing a solid foundation on which we can expand the game unitl we reach a real endgame. I know it’s frustrating, but we need to ask for some more patience in this regard :)
We already have the plans and concepts, but as I said, we are still solidifiing the foundation at this moment.
Cheers!PsenBattleKeymasterHehe glad you like the armor :)
Before the update there where only two special armors: The wolfpelt armor and the wolf mail armor.
While the first one could be crafted by a tailor in a certain event, the mail version would only get dropped by some bandit leaders. So they are pretty rare. They still are, but now also can be dropped in the “fake direwolf twist”.
Our plan is reworking and adding a lot of named weapons. At the moment lots of weapon categories are missing named versions. We want to seize the opportunity and introduce a bunch of named helmets and armors (just like the direwolf mail), so that we have a complete set of named (unique looking) versions for (almost) all types of equipment.
Can’t give you an ETA on that yet, as there are more crucial things to be tackled right now, but it is high up on our whishlist.Cheers!
PsenBattleKeymasterHey guys,
in the update last friday we fixed a bug with the relation degration so it should be slower now.
We furthermore have some changes in the works regarding the impact and distribution of relation gain when fullfilling contracts for settlements and their related noble houeses.
We’ll update you when we have something final to show!Cheers!
PsenBattleKeymasterAwesome story on the large Patrol. Things like that can happen when using a sandboxy game style whithout too much control on our side. A simple patrol contract turning into an epic quest :)
On the second screen the patrol route really doesnt make a lot of sense. We are still tweaking and testing how to combine the randomly generated maps with the patrol route to achieve a reasonable outcome.
PsenBattleKeymasterLvlups were static in the version before the update and people complained that it was too boring.
They bring back variable lvlups, now it’s too random :P.This is the dilemma. So at the end of the day we just have to go with what we think fits the game best. We also dont think the impact of the rolls is so heavy, that some players may get completely screwed.
PsenBattleKeymasterPsenBattleKeymasterPsenBattleKeymasterThere is something about the way you draw stuff…
Thanks man,
its a totally different style, but the feeling I wanted to convey when you watch the battle unfold is the feeling you have when looking at pictures from the Morgan Bible. Abhorrent and fascinating at the same time. Especially when you realize that the depictions are pretty much historically accurate.PsenBattleKeymasterWhat drove those fellas mad?
Thats what happens to all the puppies who get abandoned at the highway when the kids are tired of them :)
Don’t let us wait a month again.^^
Dont worry, you will get your candy a lot more frequently from now on :)
PsenBattleKeymasterHehe, nice that you noticed :)
What happens, if you name your company just “The”?
Try it out and let us know :)
