    А week or more in IRL is broken finger critical trauma. Character may be taken out of action forever, but alive. It can save game balance as devs see it. Dunno about social characteristics of company members in released game, but we can also use those invalid veterans somehow, as non-battle character, or cut their share and let them go.

    Devs already said this is because some graphic cards do not support properly some OpenGL functions. If you have obsolete Radeon graphic card (like me) it can help to get last actual drivers for these cards exactly. I has this “critical hardware error” bug too, with latest radeon drivers, but when i found last drivers pack for my card, from 2013, it works. There, in right column, if you are with Radeon

    Fortifications on a tactic map have a higher priority in my expectations rating then halberds, mauls and bastards. But the top priority is 13th member of company.

    you realize this is a realistic medieval setting right? not sure the mercenaries of the medieval times used to run around with weps and armor that had enchantment slots, or ran around with accessorys like rings, necklaces and bracelets for the point of boosting their fighting capabilites :p

    Do you familiar with a placebo effect?

    Yep I was satisfied with an old forest too, but what is done is done – devs decided to simplify this based on an average feed back opinion.

    Yep.
    In my current deadly ironman game i killed Hoggart on the 63th day. Was trading and equiping until that day. 6-7 men in simple mail and with decent weapon. Yeah, it is not necessary that much but i did not want casualties.

    Perfectly. Very happy for you. Should be we play different games. However – it does not matter.

    I dont know what to tell you. The only way you can underestimate the power of nimble build is if you never tried it yourself. Beating 12 orc warriors is not impossible, you just need to make a highly specialized party.

    If you dont believe me find the Orc Warrior thread i made some time ago and in it people posted screenshots of beating orc warriors (i think meeky beat ~20 of them).

    There is nothing to underestimate. IMHO nimble, magic horn and perfect focus are exploits. Excluded from use by houserule. Perfect focus nerfed in this update and i think other two eventually will be.

    I think this is the same crash as in mine game crash caravan. It was fixed (in a gamedev version), so this fix will be in the game with the next update. As for now, try not to loose the caravan. Or not to take this quest.

    I just say generally you can leave – withdraw from caravan on a tactic map.

    Fighting 17 orcs including 1 named warlord and at least 3 berserkers. That’s pretty hefty.

    Moreover, i see only one orc young. It means 1 warlord, 13 orc warriors, 3 bers.
